This is a fixed oil obtained by drying apricot kernels and subjecting them to cold pressing. Thanks to the vitamins it contains, it is of great importance for hair care. Hair masks can be prepared with apricot kernel oil. The cold pressing method is a physical process and does not involve any chemical processes or solvent extraction (hexane) methods. In the cold pressing method, the product temperature is not more than 40°C, preserving the plant’s natural aroma, taste, and nutritional values. The leaves are long and lance-shaped, with serrated edges, and pointed or blunt tips. The flowers are white or pink and appear before the leaves. The fruits are fuzzy on the outside and have a yellowish-orange, plum-like appearance.
