Karakovan Honeycomb Honey from Eğriçayır is an organic certified product with a Total Activity (TA) rating of 16+, indicating its high level of natural antibacterial properties. This package includes three 600g portions of honeycomb, offering a rich and authentic honey experience directly from the hive.

Eğriçayır Organic Karakovan Honey is produced without any added base comb, entirely by bees, which is why it is referred to as “Karakovan” honey. The honey was awarded a gold medal at the 2017 Apimondia Beekeeping Congress. The color of the honeycomb may vary depending on the diversity of the plants it contains.

This honey is organically certified and produced at an altitude of 2,500 meters in Eğriçayır Plateau. In the production of Karakovan honey, bees create the entire comb themselves, without the use of a base comb.

Eğriçayır’s beekeeping practices have been maintained for 300 years in the Eğriçayır Plateau, which is known for its rich flora composed of wild mountain flowers. All products are organically certified. The honey is produced under a controlled beekeeping process, ensuring traceability from the beekeeper to the jar.
