Organic Lavender Honey 450g – Eğriçayır

Eğriçayır Organic Lavender Honey is a 450g jar of honey produced from the nectar of lavender flowers, ensuring a natural and aromatic flavor profile. This honey is certified organic, meaning it is free from synthetic additives and pesticides, providing a pure and wholesome option for sweetening foods and beverages.

Eğriçayır Organic Lavender Honey is produced by relocating some of our beehives annually to the lavender regions of the Taurus Mountains. The lavender plants begin to bloom in early June and continue until mid-July, providing nectar for the bees. This honey is a monofloral flower honey, primarily deriving its aroma from lavender flowers. It is certified organic.

Our bees also gather nectar from the wild lavender species, known as “karabaş otu,” which grows in the Mediterranean region. The honey does not smell like lavender but has a unique taste and aroma.

The honey is produced in the Eğriçayır region, located approximately 110 km from Erdemli, Mersin, at an altitude of about 2,500 meters. This area is characterized by its wildflower flora, which contributes to the honey’s unique properties.

Eğriçayır products are certified organic and have received various awards, including a gold medal at the Apimondia International Apicultural Congress. The production process involves strict monitoring and certification to ensure quality and authenticity.
