Eğriçayır Organic Lavender Honey is a 850g jar of honey produced from the nectar of lavender flowers, ensuring a unique floral flavor profile. This honey is certified organic, guaranteeing that it is free from synthetic additives and pesticides, making it a natural choice for those seeking pure honey products.

Eğriçayır Organic Lavender Honey is produced by relocating some of our beehives annually to the lavender region in the Taurus Mountains. The lavender plants begin to bloom in early June and provide nectar to the bees until mid-July. This honey is primarily derived from lavender nectar and has a unique taste and aroma, distinct from the scent of lavender itself. It is certified organic.

Our bees also gather nectar from wild lavender species, such as Lavandula stoechas, in the Mediterranean region where various types of lavender grow both as cultivated and wild plants.

Eğriçayır is located in a high-altitude region (approximately 2,500 meters) near Mersin’s Erdemli district, about 110 km away. The area is characterized by wildflowers due to its elevation. Our organic flower honey has received awards, including a gold medal at the Apimondia International Apicultural Congress.
