Eğriçayır Organic Pine Honey is produced in the Muğla region of Turkey by contracted beekeepers and is certified organic. Pine honey, a type of honeydew honey, is commonly produced in the coastal areas of Muğla and the Mediterranean. It is derived from the secretion of the basra insect living on red pine trees, which is then collected by bees and stored in honeycombs. This honey is known for its dark color and woody aroma, and it has a lower pH, making it slightly acidic. Pine honey crystallizes more slowly than flower honey.
